CCLOA is pleased to be serving the Colorado outdoor hospitality industry for over 50 years, and we are honored to still have some of the original founding parks still in membership! There are some members parks who are on their third (and fourth) generation of same-family ownership. Yet we also have many new members, including newly built facilities, in membership.

“We joined ARVC and CCLOA our first year in business, 2013. It didn’t take much convincing, we understood the value of industry associations. Renewing our membership every year is done without any second thought. The networking opportunities and industry expertise is extremely valuable. We love going to the national and state conventions every year where we come back with great ideas and wonderful friendships! When you’re an owner/operator of a small business, having the backing of an industry association is a must.” (~ Lainey Beyhan, Dolores River Campground)
“Our 70-year-old campground benefits from the collective negotiation with and oversight of Colorado State and local governments’ legislative and bureaucratic efforts.” (~ RJ Steer, Golden Eagle Campground, Inc.)
“CCLOA is always supporting its members from simple questions about operating your campground to intense issues like wildfires, zoning issues and national emergencies. CCLOA supports its members in ways individual campgrounds cannot.” (~ D Seppi, Sugar Loafin’ Campground)
“When things are going good, the networking opportunities and discounts on music and movie licenses are some of the best benefits of CCLOA/ARVC. When things start to go sideways it’s great to have the knowledge and resources of CCLOA/ARVC standing with you. Last years Covid restrictions are a prime example.” (~G. Garrett, La Veta Pines RV Park)
When initially developing my park as well as during the ensuing improvement phases CCLOA provided a priceless resource of tribal knowledge of the industry specific to the different tourism regions in Colorado. CCLOA’s network of industry professionals were able to give feedback on ideas based on personal experiences within their parks, and feedback from their guests over the years. Additionally, CCLOA provided the strength of an established industry authority at both the State and National levels that helped me navigate all the new regulatory obstacles our industry faces when developing or improving our parks to keep up with the pace of innovation and change brought forth by today’s camper. Most of all I appreciated CCLOA’s open door to questions and willingness to provide information in a welcoming manner that made me feel like part of team rather than part of a group of competitors. (~K. Ehlers, Palisade Basecamp RV Resort)
“CCLOA has proven to be an invaluable resource for me as a park owner. I’ve made professional contacts who have become close friends, developed a network of people whom I can ask for advice and guidance, and connected with vendors and other industry providers.” (~ M Wilson, Chalk Creek Campground)
“We opened our first RV Park with absolutely ZERO knowledge of the business! I honestly don’t know what we would have done without the insight, kind generosity of time and support we found in Mary Arlington and the CCLOA!!” (~C Bradley Rocky Mountain View RV Park) (FYI: she prefaced her statement with this: “I am so busy with everything, it should speak VOLUMES that I am taking the time to write this.”)
“Wonderful to have a person at the other end of the phone who can give you feedback AND bring together multiple parks perspectives on problems and questions we bump up against.” (~ J Barel, Canyon View RV Resort)
“A network of people who know the challenges you face and are willing to share their experiences and give you support ” (~ J Barel, Canyon View RV Resort)
“What I love about our CCLOA membership is knowing that I have a community and network to reach out to when I need to solve a campground related problem. It is great to know I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time. Plus, Mary rocks!” (~E. St Ruth, Kebler Corner)

“The friendships and shared knowledge from fellow RV Park owners is priceless.” (~C. Dunekacke, Mount Princeton RV Park)
“Education from yearly conferences is so valuable. We find it is a time to reflect and reset for the upcoming season.” (~C. Dunekacke, Mount Princeton RV Park)
